Multi level marketing promotional tools can leverage your time by working for you when you aren’t around. Business cards, bookmarks, brochures, catalogs, and postcards can be low cost guerilla marketing ways to gather MLM leads.

Here’s a few places to leave your network marketing tools:

  • Bookstores sometimes provide a rack with free information
  • Gyms have changing rooms - leave materials on the benches
  • Where you work - in the cafeteria
  • Health stores bulletin boards
  • Laundramats bulletin boards
  • Waiting rooms in doctors and other professionals offices
  • Libraries - put a bookmark in bestsellers
  • Any area where people wait, like airports, buses and trains

Let your multilevel marketing tools keep working for you while you’re out growing your business.

Network Marketing Book Author Interviewed in Wall Street Journal Online

Filed under: network marketing — goldjemz @ 2:28 pm

This last week, I picked up a call and found myself on the phone with a reporter from the Wall Street Journal. She had come across one of my web sites on starting a home based business and requested an interview, which I agreed to right then. One thing I’ve learned as an author over the years is that free publicity is an invaluable opportunity and rarely returns when refused.

I love doing interviews and speaking on training calls. When the interviewer asks questions, it prompts me to always try to improve how I communicate what I’ve learned about starting a business, network marketing, working from home and those related topics.

To make the week better, my Guerrilla Multilevel Marketing, a network marketing book on Amazon reached the #2 position in popular multilevel marketing books. You can still get a free excerpt from the book at www.gmmlm.com.

Network Marketing and Social Media

Filed under: network marketing — goldjemz @ 1:15 am

The past couple of years has seen an amazing growth in the popularity of social network sites like Facebook, MySpace, and others. These sites get more traffic than Google and people are spending lots of their time checking their homepages. Network marketers can tap into the growing trend by creating profiles on the giant socials sites like Facebook and MySpace and then networking with their group members through these sites. You can use your free pages on these sites to create special interest groups where you conduct network marketing trainings, introduce tools, announce events and help support your team.

Network Marketing Leads: How Many Can You Handle?

Filed under: network marketing — goldjemz @ 2:44 am

Guerilla Marketing tactics can bring in a steady flow of network marketing leads. The question is “how many leads can you handle efficiently?” By “efficiently,” I mean taking the time to build a relationship with each person, introduce your offer in ways that match the person’s needs, and do follow up training for those who join your team.

If you only have twenty hours a week for your network marketing activities, then some of that time is going to be lead gathering and some has to be prospect cultivation. So think ‘quality’ when your planning your lead gathering tactics. Count on spending meaningful time with new people until you can motivate them to get on conference calls and attend company events for more training. Remember, people like to do business with people they like, so be a friend first and a business builder second.

Network Marketing Tools

Filed under: guerilla marketing tips — goldjemz @ 5:25 pm

I recently wrote an article on using network marketing tools. It’s easy to get caught up in thinking that buying a lot of promotional material from your company is going to result in having a bigger organization. But you can save a ton of money by creating simple network marketing tools that can be powerfully persuasive.

One thing you can do that is very cheap is to produce a one-page sheet with your best testimonials. Testimonials work so well because they allow you to present third-party endorsements. People know that when you say your product or company is the greatest that you have a vested interest. But when other people are saying it, they pay attention.

Another inexpensive network marketing tool you can put together on your own is to research articles in major magazines written about your company, your product or your industry. For instance, Time magazine ran a story on how big retailers are using essential oils to enhance the moods of customers. If you are promoting aromatherapy oils, a photocopy of this article should be in your toolkit to give to business owner / prospects.

Research your topic by going to Google and typing in keywords related to your subject.
